A meeting of the empowered cabinet committee was held in the state regarding the systematic development and utilization of unused government land owned by various departments, corporations, divisions, companies and boards. In the meeting, recommendations were made by the Cabinet Committee to decide policies and implementing agency for systematic development and utilization of unused government land. Now the policies and implementation agency will be decided at the cabinet level. Public Works and Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Housing, Environment and Transport Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar, Food and Culture Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Subrata Sahu, Secretary, Public Works Department, Mr. Siddharth Komal Singh Pardesi, Special Secretary, Cooperatives, Mr. Himshikhar Gupta, Chief Executive Officer and Commissioner Housing Board, Dr. Ayyaz Tamboli, NRDA, Mr. Jaiprakash Maurya, Director, Town and Country Investment Department, Chief of RDA. Executive Officer Mr. Abhijit Singh and other senior officers concerned were present. It is worth mentioning that an empowered committee of ministers has been constituted by the state government for the systematic development and utilization of the above unusable government land. The committee includes the Minister of Public Works, the Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, the Minister of Transport, Housing and Environment and the Minister of Urban Administration. In the meeting of the high-level committee, discussions were held on the development plan of the vacant land lying unutilized by the government departments, corporation boards.
