At present, Kul 5108 quintals have been purchased till December 04 in Kharif marketing year 2020-21 at the procurement centers of Narayanpur district, Aikka, Chhotedongar, Narayanpur, Bijli, Jhara, Dhaodai, Bakulwahi and Benur. At the time of writing the news, 1160 quintal of paddy was purchased at the largest paddy procurement center, Etka. Along with this, 98 quintals in Chhotedogar, 247 quintals in Dhaudai, 471 quintals in Jhara, 918 quintals in Benur, 985 quintals in Bakulwahi, 690 quintals in Narayanpur, and 537 quintals in Bingali have been purchased. Collector Mr. Abhijit Singh has given instructions to make all necessary arrangements for the purchase. He has said that farmers should not face any kind of problem. Ample quantities of gunny bags should be available in the buying centers. Apart from this, he has also instructed the nodal officers appointed for procurement centers to conduct continuous monitoring.
