State Information Commissioner of Chhattisgarh State Information Commission Mr. Ashok Agrawal was given farewell in a simple function on his retirement today at the Commission’s office. Information Commissioner Shri Ashok Aggarwal said on the occasion that with teamwork in the State Information Commission, make the work of the Tax Commission successful. All the officers and employees of the Commission should work with positive thinking and bring glory to the name of the Commission. Outgoing State Information Commissioner Mr. Agarwal said that the tenure of 5 years in the commission has been full of achievements. In the last five years, the commission set a record by solving 8506 cases. He said that despite the paucity of resources in the Commission, the work was done efficiently. The process of online application has been started in the Commission, under which the applicant can get information by applying online from his home. Mr. Aggarwal said that important decisions from the year 2006 to the year 2022 were compiled and published by the commission, which is proving to be a guide for public information officers, first appellate officers and appellants. He told Information Commissioner Mr. Trivedi, Mr. Jaiswal to try to solve the pending cases as much as possible.State Information Commissioner Mr. Manoj Trivedi said that Mr. Aggarwal is simple, easy and sensitive. His knowledge and guidance will be useful in social and public life. Mr. Aggarwal used to follow the orders, instructions and used to take the officers and employees along. Awareness and activeness towards work could be seen in Mr. Aggarwal. Mr. Trivedi said that during the Corona period, hearings of appeals and complaints continued in the Commission through video conferencing, through which the appellants and the public information officers could easily present their views. State Information Commissioner Mr. Dhanvendra Jaiswal said that work is worship, he has always been responsible for his work and has been working within the confines of the law. His working style is also being praised in the Commission. The publication of the Commission from the year 2006 to the year 2022 is the most important decision of Mr. Aggarwal, in which he has included the decision of Supreme Court, High Court and Central Information Commission as examples, which is exemplary. Being from the administrative field, he was rich in practical knowledge. Commission’s Secretary Mr. Anand Masih said that the commission will continue to get guidance from Mr. Aggarwal’s restrained and administrative service work. On the occasion of the farewell of State Information Commissioner Mr. Ashok Agrawal, Secretary Mr. Anand Masih, on behalf of the Chhattisgarh State Information Commission, was honored by presenting a shawl, gamchha and a memento.
