A man in Chhattisgarh faked his own death and fled to Delhi, leaving his clothes and slippers near the Gangrel Dam. Authorities launched a search operation, assuming he had drowned. After 12 days, the police discovered he was hiding in Delhi. The man, identified as Hemant Chandravanshi, was reportedly burdened by debt, prompting him to stage the elaborate hoax.
