Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today met people in Jagannathpur village under Balod development block. While discussing with the people, he said that our government is working continuously for the welfare of all sections of the society in the state. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, while discussing with the villagers, said that this year paddy was purchased in the state on support price starting from November 1. He said that due to the efforts of the state government, farming has become a profitable business in Chhattisgarh today. Along with farming, animal husbandry is being made profitable. Cow dung is being procured through Godhan Nyay Yojana. Rural employment is being further strengthened through Rural Industries Park, so that all people get employment opportunities and they move forward. Took feedback from general public about various schemes like Godhan Nyay Yojana etc. He told that in the first meeting of the cabinet after the formation of our government, 19 lakh farmers got the benefit of loan waiver. Along with this, various schemes and programs are being operated in the interest of farmers including Kisan Nyay Yojana. Due to which they have started getting full benefits of their produce. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel discussed with the ration card holders in Jagannathpur village and inquired about the distribution of ration. Here Mrs. Chameli Devdas Tola of village Kohka informed about getting sugar for Rs. 20 instead of Rs. 17 per kg. Taking this seriously, the Chief Minister instructed the Food Inspector to get it investigated. The Chief Minister inquired about the Godhan Nyay Yojana. Farmer Narendra Sinha, resident of village Barhi said that Godhan Nyay Yojana has proved to be very beneficial. Along with this, due to the construction of Gothan and pasture, they are getting proper fodder for their animals. Divyaram Dhurve village Barhi told that organic manure is being used in the entire one and a half acres of crop. On this, the Chief Minister congratulated Divya Ram Dhurve. Shri Sahu thanked the Chief Minister for providing LLM course in the college. Mr. Devangan, a resident of Kohongatola, demanded upgradation of the village’s high school into a higher secondary school. Prashant Baghel Sankra demanded to open a college in the college. Talking to the people present, the Chief Minister also discussed about the implementation of Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme, Mukhyamantri Suposhan Yojna. Announcements made by the Chief Minister in Jagannathpur The Chief Minister made many announcements for the development of the area during the meeting. These include Rs 10 lakh for Shiva temple in Jagannathpur, road construction from Jungera to Ghoomka. Similarly, road beautification from Dalli Chowk Balod to Paras, construction of a new building for Community Health Center at Latabod was also announced. Announced opening of high school at Taroud and construction of new building for Higher Secondary School at village Sankra. Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that necessary initiative would be taken to declare Irrigation village Aurabhatha as revenue village. He approved various construction works including Sheetla Mandir at Balod and announced mini stadium at Jagannathpur. Apart from this, he said that provision would be made in the budget for Somani to Arjunda road and Newarikala high school would be upgraded to Higher Secondary School.
