Industries Minister Shri Kawasi Lakhma today attended the camp organized at Akar Sansthan located at Kumharras in Sukma district as the chief guest. Shri Lakhma provided wheelchair, magnifier, mobile software, hearing aid and TLM kit to 42 differently abled children. Minister Shri Lakhma, after discussing with the officials of the institute, gave instructions to increase 50 additional seats and to upgrade the institute and conduct classes up to 12th. Shri Lakhma said that under the scheme of the State Government, better arrangements would be made for talent promotion, teaching and accommodation for the differently-abled students. Visually impaired artist encouraged by giving cash prize – Praising the visually impaired artist Kumari Sodhi Beede for her excellent performance in the National Tribal Literature Festival organized in the capital Raipur, Minister Lakhma encouraged her by giving a cash prize of Rs 5000.
