Road repair work is going on at a fast pace these days in the National Highway-30 Keshkal Valley connecting Bastar to the capital Raipur. This screw repair work is proposed to be done from November 4 to November 11. Recently, District Collector Deepak Soni reached the valley and inspected the repair work. On Wednesday afternoon, Regional MLA and Vice President of Bastar Development Authority Santram Netam reached the valley and took stock of the repair work. Along with this, the departmental officers and contractors present there were instructed to complete the repair work as soon as possible. During this, MLA Santram Netam told that due to being the only lifeline of Bastar, thousands of vehicles move daily in Keshkal valley. Due to the poor condition of the road, commuters were facing a lot of trouble in commuting for some time. In view of this, now the work of repairing the screw in the road is going on. Necessary guidelines have been given to SDM and EE Shri RK Guru of National Highways Department to ensure that there is no compromise with the quality during repair, as well as administration and police teams are constantly deployed to ensure that the traffic system is not affected. . We have also instructed them that special care should be taken to ensure that the passengers do not face any kind of problem in the movement. It is worth mentioning that during the ongoing screw repair work at Keshkal Ghat, as per the orders of District Collector Deepak Soni, the converted routes are being used for the movement of heavy goods vehicles.
