The two-day event of ‘Muktibodh Prasang’ is being organized on 29 and 30 November at Kala Bhawan of Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur. Many well-known litterateurs of the country are participating in this event. Famous poet Mr. Laltu and senior critic Mr. Jayprakash will address the inaugural session of this event focused on different topics. The inaugural session was presided over by Prof. Ravi Shankar Shukla University. Vice Chancellor Kesharilal Verma will do. This event is being jointly organized by the Sahitya Akademi Chhattisgarh Sanskriti Parishad of the Department of Culture and the School of Literature and Language of Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University. A special attraction of the event was the presence of famous Hindi litterateur Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh and his younger brother and famous Marathi writer Gajanan Madhav. The session is based on mutual family, literary and ideological relations of litterateur Sharchandra Madhav Muktibodh. Titled ‘Muktibodh and Muktibodh: Gajanan Madhav and Sharchandra Madhav’, senior litterateur Shripad Bhalchandra Joshi, litterateur and environmentalist Shri Pradeep Muktibodh and poet and critic Shri Prafulla Shiledar will present their views in this session. This session will be presided over by senior litterateur and journalist Mr. Diwakar Muktibodh. In the organized programme, a discussion session on Muktibodh’s poems ‘Aveg-Twirt-Kaal-Yatri’ and a session focused on his creative and critical contribution ‘Light in the dark’ will be organized. The speakers involved in these sessions include poet-storyteller Mr. Basant Tripathi, poet and critic Mr. Mrityunjay, critic Mr. Amitabh Rai, poet Mr. Mithlesh Sharan Choubey, philosopher Mr. Pankaj Srivastava, youth critic Ms. Kamini and youth critic Mr. Bhuwal Singh Thakur. These sessions were presided over by Prof. Head of the Department of Literature and Language Studies. Mrs. Shail Sharma and Prof. Mrs. Madhulata Bara will do it. During the program a poet’s seminar will be organized, in which Mr. Laltu, Mr. Naval Shukla, Mr. Vijay Singh, Mr. Prafulla Shiledar, Mr. Pathik Tarak, Mr. Bhaskar Chaudhuri, Mr. Basant Tripathi, Mr. Mithlesh Sharan Choubey, Mr. Mrityunjay Will recite poetry. Under Muktibodh context, the play Brahmarakshas prepared and appreciated by Meraki Performing Art of Nagpur will be staged at Sanskriti Bhavan Auditorium Raipur at 6.30 pm on November 29.
