Today, on the first day of National Tribal Scout Guide Ranger Rover Carnival 2022 running at Mini Stadium Ground, folk song music singing competitions were organized for the Scout Guide. On this occasion, Scouts & Guides of the states and districts, focusing on their respective regions and regional specialties, gave excellent presentations on folk songs and music, for which the visitors present kept clapping for a long time. It is to be known that in the said carnival, Union Territories of Dadar Nagar Haveli, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, South Eastern Railway, Central Railway, Odisha, besides other districts of the state like Kanker, Sukma, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, Bastar, Dantewada, Mahasamund Scouts, Guides and Rover Rangers are participating. In this sequence, first of all, the rules of living in the carnival, routine, arrangements for commuting and various competitions as well as introductory information were given. After that, Odia Sambalpuri folk song “Rongoboti” was presented by Scouts & Guides of East Coast Railway. Along with this, a song was sung by the team of Madhya Pradesh, indicating the main features of the state. Along with this, the team of Andhra Pradesh presented folk songs through beautiful dance. At the same time, the team of Uttar Pradesh won everyone’s mind by singing a patriotic song. Apart from this, Chhattisgarh team performed Halbi song “Bastar Mocho Kay Sundar Maati”, Orissa team performed Odia folk song, Dadar and Nagar Haveli Gujarati and Scouts Guides of Central Railway performed Marathi folk song. In the districts, the Kondagaon team gave a pleasing presentation of “Jawan Jawan Re Dada Didi Bastar Dakhuklay Jawan, Bastaria Sang Gothianwan” and Sua Geet by Kanker. At the end of the program, the guests present were encouraged by thanking the Scouts & Guides from different states and districts for their enthusiastic participation. Announcement of Vande Matram Gunja in Unity Rally In this five-day carnival, on 09 November, unity rally was taken out from Mini Stadium to Gadiras Chowk by Scouts & Guides in the morning at District Headquarters, wearing traditional clothes of their respective areas. In this rally, soft drinks and snacks were also distributed by various society heads welcoming the scouts guides.
