Public Health Engineering and Village Industries Minister Guru Rudrakumar attended the grant distribution program after women’s entrepreneurship and technology training organized by MasterCard and Learning Links Foundation at Bhilai in Durg district today. Addressing the program, Minister Guru Rudrakumar said that with the combination of traditional skills and technology, new possibilities will be created in the village industry and opportunities for economic development will be available at a faster rate. Our artisans are very skilled, if they are connected with modern technology and given training in marketing and other necessary things, then they will be more capable financially. Efforts are being made by the department in this direction. Addressing the program, Minister Guru Rudrakumar said that the women of the state are adding color to their lives through the Department of Village Industries. Efforts are being made by the department to make the women of the state self-reliant by giving training from time to time. This organization is doing good work, which makes me feel happy and seeing the confidence of the women here, it seems that along with the government, such institutions are also playing their part in the society in this direction. Minister Guru Rudrakumar assured the women in the Learning Links Foundation organization and program that after training in the institution, they would be provided employment through the Department of Village Industries. During the program, Minister Guru Rudrakumar presented grant money and certificates to the women trained under the V&Tech project by Learning Links Foundation. He provided Rs 5000 as incentive to 80 women trained. It is noteworthy that so far this institution has provided grant money to 11 thousand women to make them self-reliant.
