Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel had assured the treatment of four-year-old Kumari Aditi of the district during the meeting program in the district. On the assurance of the Chief Minister, the process of treatment has been started by the Chief Medical and Health Officer under the guidance of Collector Richa Prakash Chaudhary. After Diwali, Aditi will be treated at Neemhans Hospital, Bangalore. It is worth mentioning that Aditi Yadav, 4-year-old daughter of Durgesh Yadav, who lives in village Tikarkhurd of Bastibagra Panchayat of Janpad Panchayat Gaurela, is suffering from tumor disease on top of the nose since birth. This tumor was small at birth but continues to grow with age. Earlier, the medical team under the National Child Health Program (Viva) working in the district was informed during the health check-up of the children at the Anganwadi center, then the doctor was given necessary medicines along with health advice. During the meeting with the Chief Minister in the district, Aditi’s father Mr. Durgesh Yadav had demanded treatment of the daughter from Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. The Chief Minister had assured Aditi’s treatment. Under the guidance of the collector, Aditi was shown by the medical team to Dr. Y Ravishekhar Neurologist at KIMS Hospital Bilaspur, where her MRI and other tests were done. In the investigation, Aditi was found to have a disease called Facial Encephalocele, which is due to the protrusion of the brain parenchyma due to the non-complete closure of the neural tube, which is a congenital anomaly. The doctor has referred him to Neemhans Hospital, Bangalore for the treatment of this disease.
