On the occasion of World Water Day on 22nd March, under the guidance of Minister of Forest and Climate Change Shri Mohammad Akbar, the construction work of water recharge pits in forest areas was started for water conservation today. Under which structures will be constructed for water conservation by digging 60 thousand water recharge pits in different forest blocks falling in 07 forest zones of South Kondagaon forest division. Today, under the guidance of Forest Divisional Officer, South Kondagaon Forest Division, Uttam Kumar Gupta, in the presence of public representatives in RF 842, under Gram Panchayat Bamhani of Kondagaon development block, the works of water recharge pit were inaugurated by performing Bhoomipujan.
