Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel announced to provide an amount of Rs 50 lakh to Oraon society for the development of the land allotted earlier in the capital Raipur. He made this announcement during a courtesy meeting of the Oraon Samaj Chhattisgarh delegation at his residence office this evening. On this occasion Food Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat, Deputy Speaker Shri Manoj Mandavi, Parliamentary Secretary Shri U.D. Minj, MLA Shri Vinay Bhagat, MLA Shri Gulab Kamro were present. Addressing the society, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that our government in Chhattisgarh is committed for the upliftment of all sections of the society. Many schemes and programs are being operated to connect them with the main stream of the society. In these, along with special attention to facilities like education and health for their rapid development, continuous work is being done to provide them employment opportunities, so that they move forward rapidly. During this, Chief Minister Shri Baghel assured to act promptly on the demands put forth by the Oraon Samaj delegation. He said that keeping in view the need of every society in the state, according to their demand, funds are being made available at the district and block level, including the approval of community building.
