A review meeting was held by the Finance Secretary Smt. Alarmelmangai D. with the Director, Treasury Accounts and Pensions, all the Divisional Joint Directors and officers of the Finance Department regarding pending pension cases and negative balance of the General Provident Fund. Deputy Accountant General Mrs. G. Ellersi and other officers of the Accountant General’s office were also present in the review meeting. Detailed information was given by the Accountant General’s office in the year 2018 regarding pending cases of negative balance for the period before GPF went online. The drawing-disbursing officers were apprised about not paying proper attention to the disposal of the cases. In this regard, the Secretary Finance was directed to organize a workshop for all DDOs at the district level in coordination with the Office of the Accountant General and the Divisional Joint Director, Pension. Keeping in view the seriousness of the matter, instructions have been given to make available the grievance redressal system and contact telephone numbers of the Accountant General’s Office on the e-Kosh portal for all the subscribers and DDOs. In this regard, helpline 0771-2281499, 094255-27697 and grievance redressal cell number-123 (help desk for GPF subscribers) were made available by the officers of Accountant General’s office. Pension cases received by Secretary Finance in all divisional pension offices and their The solution was reviewed. In relation to such online cases in which the pension case has not been sent physically, action should be taken to call for the case by writing a semi-official letter to the divisional officers of the concerned department. The disposal of revenue cases has accelerated in Raipur district. Out of the total revenue cases registered in the district, 89 percent cases have been resolved. Now only about 11 percent of the cases in the district are left pending for redressal. In the revenue courts of the district, 1 lakh 11 thousand 761 cases have been registered for action. Of these, 99 thousand 505 cases have been resolved. 12 thousand 256 cases are still pending for disposal due to lack of documents, due to non-appearance of the parties in the court on time or there is a situation of serious dispute on the matters. Collector Dr. Bhure has given instructions to all the officers for speedy disposal of revenue cases. He has asked to dispose off the pending cases ranging from three months to 12 months on priority basis. Along with this, the parties have also been advised to show seriousness in resolving their cases. The Collector set a target of resolving more than two thousand cases in the next one month and instructed to take action according to the action plan. He also asked to make special efforts in resolving revenue cases pending for two to five years in Raipur and Arang revenue sections. In the meeting of revenue officers, the Collector directed all the sub-divisional revenue officers, Tehsildars and officials of urban bodies to take strict action against illegal plating. Taking action on illegal plotting on about 134 acres of land of 207 Khasras in Raipur Tehsil, the purchase, sale and registry has been banned. 70 khasras of more than 37 acres in Arang tehsil, 50 khasras of about 47 acres in Kharora tehsil, 31 khasras of about 38 acres in Tilda tehsil, 17 measles of about 18 acres in Gobra-Nawapara tehsil on the instructions of Collector Dr. Bhure has been blocked.
