Chhattisgarh state government makes new schemes to strengthen rural poor families financially. So that rural poor families can get financial strength. Now another scheme has been included in these schemes. Whose name is Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park Scheme (RIPA). Under this scheme, two Gothans each of the five development blocks of Mahasamund district have been selected for RIPA. Among these, Birkoni and Kampa of Mahasamund development block, M.K. Bahra and Tilaidadar, Bagarpali and Godbahal of Pithora, Navagaon and Chimarkel of Basna and Chirko and Bhuthia of Saraipali are included. Funds have been sanctioned to these selected Gothans under RIPA. So that they will be able to conduct livelihood related activities. In the first phase, two Gothans in each development block are being developed as Rural Industrial Parks. Funds have been provisioned for this scheme in the state government’s budget.Earlier, on October 2, 2022, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel through video conferencing from his residence office He also laid the foundation stone of Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park (RIPA) to develop various gothans of the state as livelihood centers. It is worth mentioning that on the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the Gothans of the village are being developed as Rural Industrial Park to provide employment and means of income to the rural poor families. For this, various other livelihood oriented activities will be conducted here. The Industrial Park will become an additional means of livelihood for the rural poor families. Under this scheme, in the first phase, two Gothans have been selected in each development block. Basic facilities, basic infrastructure like internal road, electricity, water and drain system, workshed, storage, training, marketing support, technical guidance etc. will be made available to the villagers in Rural Livelihood Park for livelihood promotion. In this scheme, by identifying interested local youth, self-help groups, entrepreneurs will be provided machinery and loan from bank on the basis of business plan, as per eligibility, grant, subsidy or loan at zero interest rate under various schemes.Chhattisgarh state’s The dreams of young rural entrepreneurs working in rural industrial centers established in Gothans are about to get a new dimension. Rural industrial centers i.e. RIPA will now be set up in collaboration with Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) Mumbai, in all RIPA centers of Chhattisgarh for demonstration and training of rural technology. In these centres, more than 72 rural economy-based enterprise techniques will be imparted to the youth. Master trainers will also be prepared here by BARC. BARC officials appreciated the efforts being made by the government to provide better opportunities for rural economy and employment in Chhattisgarh and agreed to cooperate in setting up rural technical centers in Ripa. It is notable that Chief Minister Mr. Baghel’s intention According to this, Rural Industrial Parks are being constructed in 300 Gauthans across Chhattisgarh. For this, Rs 300 crore has been sanctioned by the state government. Construction of several RIPAs has been completed and various rural enterprises are being operated there. In rural technical centers, youth will be given training in various employment-business, training will also be given to prepare various products of fruits, vegetables and minor forest produce. Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) will encourage youth to join employment by training them in rural technical centers.
