Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that the basic identity of Chhattisgarh is simplicity, ease and mutual brotherhood. The state government is continuously working for the economic, social and cultural development of all sections including the poor, farmers, laborers by following the path shown by the forefathers. He said that there is a time to reform the evil and bad company in the society in ancient times. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel was addressing the 77th annual convention of Chhattisgarh Manwa Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj Chandkhuri Raj organized at village Kathia (Khauli) of Arang development block of Raipur district today. On the demand of the office bearers of the society, the Chief Minister announced Rs 20 lakh for the social building of the Kurmi community and Rs 20 lakh for the construction of the social building of the Satnami community. He announced to name the school of Asoda Panchayat after Baldev Prasad Verma. On this occasion, the Chief Minister honored the talents of the society, social workers, people doing excellent work and meritorious students. Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that the Kurmi community has come forward as a progressive society and worked for the development of all people. Even during the Corona period, the people of all the societies of the state set an example of service. Some made arrangements for medicines, some made arrangements for living, food, hospitals. He said that he played his part in the country’s independence, education movement and construction of Chhattisgarh. It is the result of Dr. Khubchand Baghel’s foresight that today Chhattisgarh has developed as a new state and today it is moving ahead on the path of continuous development. Today the children of poor families and villages are also studying in English schools and are moving forward in the direction of building the society. Today, in the field of culture, Chhattisgarh has become a separate identity in the country. The country’s only Kaushalya temple is in Chandkhuri. Now every year Kaushalya Utsav will be celebrated here, where artists from all over the country will participate. Rajim was earlier known as Kumbh Mela, now it is known as Rajim Maghi Punni Mela. This fair lasts for 15 days and folk artists perform here. Today arrangements have been made to stay at religious and tourist places including Rajim, Shivrinarayan and Dongargarh. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the name of the state has been brought to glory in the entire country. Chhattisgarh model of development is discussed in the whole country. He said that the state government is working to empower the poor, farmers and laborers financially. The farmers of the state are getting the highest price for their produce through the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and Bhumihin Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana. Landless laborers are being given annual assistance of Rs 7,000, the state government has implemented the electricity bill half scheme and work has been done to provide ration to the poor and rich. Better work is being done in the field of education and health. Dr. Dahria expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister on behalf of the residents of the region for the acceptance of Rs 100 crore for various development works by the Chief Minister during the meeting program last days.
