The Animal Husbandry Department, operated under the district administration, is giving one bull pair each to the special backward tribe Pahari Korva farmers to make them economically self-sufficient. In this episode, farmers Mr. Jalsu Ram and Ghuma Ram of Sarudih of Manora development block have been given one bull pair each from the District Mineral Trust. Farmers Jalsu and Ghuma Ram have thanked the Chhattisgarh government and the district administration while expressing happiness over getting the pair of bullocks. He said that getting a pair of bullocks is making it easier for him to do farming and is also taking care of his family well. Collector Dr. Ravi Mittal is making meaningful efforts to provide bullock pair to all the special backward tribe Pahadi Korva farmers of the district. Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry Department Shri A.K. Giving information, Markam said that the cost of a pair of bullocks is about 35 thousand rupees including transport insurance.
