State Chief Information Commissioner of Chhattisgarh State Information Commission Shri M.K. Raut was given farewell in a simple function on his retirement today at the Commission’s office. Outgoing State Chief Information Commissioner Shri M.K. On this occasion, Raut said that despite the paucity of resources in the Commission, the work was done efficiently. He said that all officers and employees should work with positive energy and bring laurels to the Information Commission. Shri Raut said that by organizing workshops on the Right to Information Act in the districts in the last 4 months, by training the Public Information Officers and First Appellate Officers, their problems were resolved, which is yielding better results. The outgoing State Chief Information Commissioner Shri Raut said that the year 2022 has been full of achievements. Important decisions from the year 2006 to the year 2022 were compiled and published by the Commission, which is proving to be a guide for the Public Information Officers, First Appellate Officers and the appellants. He said that during the Corona period, through video conferencing, the cases of appeals and complaints were heard in the commission, through which the appellant and the public information officer could make their point. He said that the process of online application has been started in the Commission, for which instructions have been given to the administration time and again, the result of which is being received today that the applicant can get information by applying online from his home. State Information Commissioner Mr. Ashok Agrawal said that Mr. Raut was maintaining his identity for conducting the work by organizing the office work. Used to act as a guide in solving personal problems. His knowledge and guidance will be useful in social and public life. When someone starts leaving, we start remembering all the moments spent with him. Many friends are lost and we move on, but they are always remembered by us. Whenever we meet, our hearts fill with happiness. The outgoing State Chief Information Commissioner Shri Raut used to follow orders, instructions diligently and was supposed to take all the employees along. State Information Commissioner Mr. Manoj Trivedi said that retired State Chief Information Commissioner Mr. Raut played an important role in running the capital with less resources at the time of state formation. He had vitality towards work, due to his creativity and personality, he left no stone unturned in carrying out various development works ranging from state building. It will not be an exaggeration to address them as the axis of development. His tenure as the State Chief Information Commissioner will always be unforgettable. State Information Commissioner Shri Dhanvendra Jaiswal said that work is worship, always keep performing work by being responsible for your work and keep working within the purview of the law. Shri Raut tried to address the problems in the Commission despite the paucity of resources. The State Chief Information Commissioner tried to mold the new generation youth with technology, which would reduce the hassle in conducting the work smoothly. Had a lot of opportunity to learn working with Mr. Raut in the Commission. Being from the administrative field, he was endowed with practical knowledge. His tenure was very good and by understanding the nature of the work, he used to try to give it mobility. Today he is being bid farewell to the commission with the best wishes for his happy future. Commission’s Secretary Mr. Anand Masih said that Mr. Raut remained restrained and efficient in administrative service work, whose guidance will continue to be given to the Commission in the future. He said that Mr. Raut should remain healthy wherever he is and continue to engage in public life for the rest of his time.
