Culture Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat said that the life of Swami Vivekananda is full of inspiration. Swamiji made the whole world face to face with humanity and fraternity. Swami Vivekananda ji has a deep relation with Chhattisgarh. Invaluable two years of his life time were spent in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has decided to make Day-Bhawan a memorial building to cherish the memory of two years spent by Swami Vivekananda in Chhattisgarh. The process of making Dey Bhavan a memorial also started. The memorial building will prove to be very useful for the readers, students and researchers. Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat was addressing a lecture program organized on Swami Vivekananda Jayanti at Ghasidas Museum in Raipur today. In the presidential address, Dr. Om Prakash Verma, Secretary of Swami Vivekananda Vidyapeeth, Raipur, said that Swamiji is also known as Yugacharya. He combined Indian culture with science, as well as contributed significantly to the creation of modern India. Swamiji emphasized the harmony of religion and science. He acted as a bridge between ancient and modern India with his ideas. Swamiji gave the message of service to God, serving the suffering and the downtrodden. He envisioned to make India great by explaining spirituality, Indian culture and Hindutva. She is being realized today through Ramakrishna Mission, Ramakrishna Math. Prapatyananda of Vivekananda Ashram Raipur said that Swami Vivekananda thought not only for India but for the whole world. To realize what he thought, he established the Ramakrishna Mission, trained the disciples and through them direction is being provided to the society. In the program, famous historian and speaker Dr. Ramendra Nath Mishra shared the experiences of Swami Vivekananda from his arrival in Raipur to his two years in Chhattisgarh. Professor Smt. Sampa Choubey said that God is present in every human being. Personality was formed from the primary education of parents on Swamiji’s life. Recalling Swamiji’s speech at the Chicago Dharma Sabha, Mrs. Choubey said that Swami Vivekananda addressed the brothers and sisters in the Chicago Dharma Sabha and worked to unite the whole world. From his life, we get concentration, patriotism and inspiration to not stop till achieving the goal. The program was also addressed by Secretary, Culture Department, Mr. Anbalagan P. and Director Mr. Vivek Acharya. On this occasion, Minister Shri Bhagat won the first prize in the painting competition organized on the basis of Swami Vivekananda’s life.
