Forest and Climate Change Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar has described the budget presented by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel for the financial year 2022-23 as a public welfare budget. He said that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has taken special care of the interests of all sections of the people for the all round development of the state of Chhattisgarh. Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar has said that the announcement of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel to waive the examination fee of the local participants of the state in the examinations conducted by the Professional Examination Board and Public Service Commission is welcome. Similarly, the decision of the Chief Minister to restore the old pension scheme is a big step, fulfilling the old demand of the government officials and employees of the state of Chhattisgarh. Keeping in mind the people of all sections, the Chief Minister has given them something in the presented budget. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced an increase in the honorarium of government advocates. The honorarium of the office bearers of Zilla Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat and Gram Panchayat has also been increased. In order to accelerate the pace of development in the state, an important decision has been taken to increase the amount of MLA fund from 02 crores to 04 crores. The Chief Minister has decided to develop the Gauthans established in the state as Mahatma Gandhi Park to realize the goal of Gram Swaraj. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has increased the amount of annual assistance from Rs.6000 to Rs.7000 under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumihin Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana keeping in mind the working class. For the expansion of education in the state, it has been decided to start 32 Swami Atmanand Vidyalayas in Hindi medium. While increasing the amount for Chhattisgarh Mahila Kosh, an increase of 30 percent has been made in comparison to the year 2018-19. Provision has been made in the budget for the creation of hospital buildings and various posts for health facilities. Mallakhamb Academy will be established in Narayanpur, a tribal dominated district, to develop the Mallakhamb skills of tribal students.
