The policy of development, trust and security in Naxal areas by the state government is now paying off. Sukma district’s Konta block has succeeded in restarting the schools closed for 15 years due to Naxalism. Due to this, the future of the children living in remote forest has started shaping up. Schools are being run again successfully in the sensitive areas of Chintalnar and Jagargunda. The work of teaching-learning in the schools of these sensitive areas is being done with the help of local youth. On the special initiative of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, efforts to reopen closed schools in Naxal affected areas for the last three years are getting a huge success. With the help of the villagers, the district administration prepared huts for running the school through the panchayats. A provision of 40 thousand rupees has been made for the construction of temporary shelters for each school. The administration is working continuously to ensure that all such children who were deprived of education for more than 15 years, there is no shortage in their education facilities. Pucca buildings have been started at the places of slums by the district administration to conduct the education of children smoothly. Under this, 45 school buildings have been constructed in the first phase and construction work of 49 buildings is in progress. Fifteen years ago, 123 schools in development block Konta were closed due to Naxalite violence. The Naxalites had demolished dozens of school buildings. In which 100 primary, 22 secondary and 01 high school are included. School buildings in the interior were demolished by the Maoists so that the forces could not stay there. To educate the children in these highly sensitive villages settled in remote forest areas, local educated unemployed youth were identified and trained for teaching work at the local level. After training, 97 youths have been appointed at the Panchayat level. These youths are being given an honorarium of Rs.11 thousand per month on behalf of the district administration. These evangelists identified more than 4000 children who were out of school and education. Chintalnar School is now buzzing with children After the High School Chintalnar, which was closed due to the effect of Naxal violence, was restarted in the session 2021-22, now the children here do not have to wander anywhere. The Higher Secondary School, Middle School, Girls/Boys Hostel of Jagargunda, the most sensitive and most affected village of this area, which was being operated in Dornapal in the past years, is now being operated in Jagargunda itself with all facilities. . In this way, the educational and residential institutions of village Bhejji, Kistaram, Golapalli, Samsatti, which were being operated in Konta, Maraiguda, Dornapal headquarter, now they are being operated in their native villages with complete facilities, the confidence of the students here is big.
