The work being done on education, health, agriculture and other livelihood activities in Chhattisgarh today has been shown by personalities like Swami Atmanand, Dr. Khubchand Baghel. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said this at the Swami Atmanand Jayanti celebrations organized in Patan. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and inaugurated development works worth Rs.921 crore under Patan assembly constituency. Of these, works worth about Rs 280 crores were performed and works worth Rs 641 crores were inaugurated. The Chief Minister said that Swami Atmanand ji devoted his whole life to make education available to all sections with quality. To make his dreams a reality, we have started 701 English schools in his name. Along with English, education of Sanskrit and Chhattisgarhi is also being given here so that children can stay connected with their tradition and roots. He said that along with providing economic opportunities to the people, we have worked in the direction of saving the culture. Today we all have gathered on the birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Atmanand ji. We are determined to follow the path shown by him. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that today I have inaugurated the Chhattisgarh Olympics in Raipur. Our Chhattisgarhi games had become extinct. Now we have included 14 types of our local games. There are opportunities for everyone to participate in this game. This program has started on the birth anniversary of Swami Atmanand ji and will end on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The Chief Minister said that before Diwali, we will give the installment amount on October 17 so that people can celebrate Diwali well. With this, traders will also be able to celebrate Diwali well. Paddy procurement will start from November 1. Make sure you all do. Gothans have been made just for you. The Chief Minister said that the crop of oilseeds should also be taken and crushing should also be done in Gauthan itself, so rural livelihood centers have been set up. There is also a provision of employment for the educated youth in these livelihood centers. In health, many types of tests are being done free of cost in Patan, similarly free tests are being done in Durg. We are working hard to fulfill the dreams of our ancestors.
