Vikas Yatra is continuously fulfilling the goals of public welfare of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Sant Ravidas Jayanti Today was the 15th day of the Vikas Yatra started in the state from February 5. So far, 20 thousand 676 development works worth Rs 4024 crore 26 lakh and 27 thousand 421 development works worth Rs 2478 crore 93 lakh have been inaugurated. People’s representatives are also participating in large numbers in the ongoing development journey in the state. During the Vikas Yatra, continuous dialogue is being held with the public representatives by the public representatives. Out of the applications received in Vikas Yatra, 4 lakh 88 thousand 146 applications have been approved so far, which is 81 percent of the total applications received. Innovation continues continuously During the development journey, innovations are being made by the administration in the districts for the welfare of the people. In Indore district, Home Again Center has been opened to connect mentally ill women who are neglected and destitute from their family to the mainstream of the society. Its responsibility has been entrusted to the voluntary organization. In Burhanpur district, a rejuvenation campaign is being run for better management in the hostels run by Tribal Affairs Department and Backward Classes Welfare Department. In Alirajpur district, the help of Red Cross is being provided by conducting a survey of cataract and toothless senior citizens. A special campaign is being run in Agar-Malwa district to make composite cards and remove errors. Along with this, necessary certificates are being prepared for nomads, semi-nomads and people belonging to denotified castes. Concerted efforts are being made to open libraries in every school in the district. Camps are being organized for the health check-up of the students studying in the hostels. On receipt of the demand in Katni district, the approval of the playground has been issued within 48 hours. Food packets worth Rs 600 are being distributed to severely and moderately malnourished children in Katni Municipal Corporation area by adopting them for a period of one week. Families of martyrs and freedom fighters are being honored during the Vikas Yatra in Satna district. In the urban areas of Datia district, training is being imparted on 3-R Reduce, Reuse, Recycle by running a discussion campaign on waste. During the Vikas Yatra in Dewas district, a target has been set to make smart classrooms in 1700 primary and secondary schools with public cooperation by running ‘My School-Smart School’ campaign.
