Chief Minister attends the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Guru Mata Purnima Ji’s statue at Shrikoot Ashram.
Raipur / It is a matter of great pride for all of us that we are gathered at this sacred place to pay homage to the contributions of the revered Saint Gahira Guru Ji and Mata Purnima Ji. He said that Mata Purnima Ji’s life is a unique example of complete sacrifice, penance, and social service. Her statue symbolizes her unwavering dedication to the welfare of society. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said this today at the special occasion of the Pran-Pratishtha of the statue of Parampujya Sant Gahira Guru’s wife, Purnima Ji, at Shrikoot Ashram, Balrampur.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Saint Gahira Guru Ji, while living a householder’s life, presented the best example of serving society. He considered serving the poor, the downtrodden, and the helpless as his supreme duty and established the principles of truth, peace, compassion, and forgiveness as invaluable pillars of religion. Chief Minister Shri Sai appreciated the incomparable contribution made by Saint Gahira Guru Ji in the upliftment of tribal communities. The Chief Minister congratulated the people of the area on this auspicious occasion and urged them to wholeheartedly adopt the teachings of Mata Purnima Ji and Saint Gahira Guru Ji in their lives to give a new direction to society.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that upon arriving here, he had the good fortune of seeing the statue of Mata; seeing her vivid and charming statue, it felt as if she would speak at any moment. Shri Sai, remembering Gahira Guru Ji, said that Gahira Guru Ji was a great saint of the tribal society, whose teachings and statements made the entire society understand the importance of Sanātana Dharma. He said that the teachings of Gahira Guru Maharaj brought about economic, social, and educational improvements in the lives of the tribal communities, particularly those lagging behind in development in rural areas. Shri Sai said that he was fortunate to receive the blessings of the Gahira Guru society. As the Member of Parliament from Raigarh, he had the good fortune of adopting Gahira Guru Maharaj’s birthplace and developing it. Today, by assimilating his ideals, society is progressing. Sanskrit colleges are opening up in many places, and the tribal community is constantly progressing. A large number of prominent citizens of the tribal community were present at the ceremony.
