At the Chhattisgarh Pavilion, Chhattisgarh’s Public Works, Home, Tourism and Endowments Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu along with the departmental officials visited the stall of Chhattisgarh Tourism and inquired about the displayed projects. An attempt has been made to show Chhattisgarh moving towards economy and self-reliance. Here visitors are being informed about the schemes giving new direction to the rural economy of Chhattisgarh through the exhibition board. Through this platform, along with the culture and civilization of Chhattisgarh, tourism here is getting global recognition. In the Chhattisgarh Pavilion, the definition of art, culture, civilization and tradition is being defined in every way. C-Mart’s stall is set up in Chhattisgarh Pavilion. For the rapid development of the C Mart rural economy, an initiative has been taken to connect the finished products in the villages to the cities. Here products manufactured by women self-help groups, artisans, weavers and other traditional and cottage industries are sold. Various products can be purchased at this stall in the pavilion as well. Products related to the art and culture of Chhattisgarh have been displayed in the pavilion. An exhibition of handicrafts, artwork, paintings, costumes made by the tribal community of Chhattisgarh has been organized. Here the weavers have brought Kosa silk sarees, the special identity of the state. Apart from this, world famous craftsmanship Belmetal, Dhokra and Godna art are being presented.
