In Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration, Naib Tehsildars of 2016 batch were trained by subject experts on the importance of ‘Good Governance in Chhattisgarh’. The training session was organized by the Director of the Academy of Administration Shri T.C. Mahawar also addressed. During the special session on Good Governance in Chhattisgarh, speedy redressal of public grievances and role of sensitive administration in urban and rural areas. Easy action to update the maintenance of land records and supply copy of the records especially in relation to farmers. Successful experiences regarding redressal of public grievances were discussed. Apart from this, the expected attitude of public servants in relation to public grievances. Effective implementation and monitoring of Public Service Guarantee Act. Role of administration in making Gauthans self-reliant in rural areas. Contribution of administrative efficiency in the background of successful campaign of paddy procurement in the year 2021. The contribution of public participation and administration in the people-oriented and welfare schemes of the government was discussed. The session ended with open discussion. In this, not only relevant questions were asked by the participating officers but also their experiences in good governance efforts were discussed. The session organized on the topic of good governance in Chhattisgarh ended with a meaningful dialogue between the keynote speaker and the participating officers.
