Training was given to DIOs in Chhattisgarh unit of NIC at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan on use of Information Technology in government work and its effective use. The implementation of various activities started under the Technical Development Program was reviewed in the NIC State Unit, Raipur recently. The event included lectures on AI Applications in Digital Governance by Dr. Gagan Raj Gupta, Associate Professor, IIT-Bhilai, Data Analytics for Citizen Friendly Governance and Building Blockchain for Government Systems by Dr. Sumit Gupta, Professor, IT & Systems, IIM-Raipur. gave. On this occasion, State Informatics Officer Dr Ashok Kumar Hota informed about the various ICT activities undertaken by the NIC Chhattisgarh District Centers. Ideas were presented on the use of emerging technologies like AI, Data Analytics, RPA, AR/VR etc. E-Governance Information was given about the use of Artificial Intelligence (Image Processing) in e-Governance projects like Mukhyamantri Suposhan Abhiyan, Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Midday meal scheme, student attendance etc. Mr. Satyesh Kumar Sharma, Technical Director, State Informatics Center conducted the program. Dr. K.P. Singh, IAS, Secretary released the MWR system of DIO. He said that the objective of the MWR system is to provide freedom to the officers to engage in their technical activities, governance services, knowledge enhancement, research and publications. He said that the D.I.O. And by introducing a monthly work reporting system for ADOs, a platform for self-assessment has been created. This will help in individual level planning and ensure the achievement of goals.
