To test the preparation for the corona vaccination, a mock drill was conducted at three health centers in Surguja district on Saturday in the presence of Sarguja Collector Sanjeev Jha. The director of the National Health Mission had discussed about the preparations through video conferencing before discussing it with all the district collectors. The objective of the Mock Drill was to test cold chain management, vaccine supply, storage, logistics as well as preparedness of people arriving for vaccination to enter their entry, registration, vaccination and observation. During the vaccination, the time taken from the entry of the Kovin app to the vaccine was also assessed during this period. The benefit of this vaccine will be available to people who do not have symptoms of corona.
After verification of the identity card which was registered by the registered person to avail the vaccine, the information of the OTP that came in the beneficiary’s mobile was drilled. After this, by consulting the concerned person in a separate room, an attempt was made to find out if they have any symptoms of fever, cold cough or corona. After undergoing these procedures, the registered person will get the opportunity to enter the vaccination room for vaccination. Here auto disposable syringe se will be used for the vaccine. The health worker present in the first chamber will confirm whether or not the beneficiary is the same person reached by ANM to take advantage of the vaccine.
District Immunization Officer Dr. Rajesh Bhajagavali informed that hundred people have been ensured to be vaccinated within eight hours in a vaccination center. Vaccination facility will be available in all primary health centers of the district. Preliminary preparations for this have been completed. According to the registration of benefits, they will get this facility.
