Dr. Girish Chandel, Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University called on Governor Ms. Anusaiya Uike at Raj Bhavan here today. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chandel informed the Governor about organizing a research workshop on tribal subject in New Delhi. Dr. Chandel told that this workshop will be concluded on 27th and 28th November. In which, on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the National Tribal Commission will publish a booklet on the contribution of tribal heroes in the freedom struggle, compiling brief reports and exhibitions of the programs organized in 125 universities of the country. Governor Sushri Uike supported this initiative started by the National Tribal Commission with the aim of underlining the contribution of tribal heroes in the freedom struggle. He told Dr. Chandel that the universities of the entire state have also given their leading participation by joining this initiative.
