Now they get 24 hours clean drinking water through the tank. He told that earlier he used to get drinking water through hand pumps. While there was a problem in filling water from the hand pump during the rainy season, muddy water was obtained from the hand pump during the rainy season and due to the low ground water level in summers, it was difficult to draw water from the hand pump. He told that hand pump was the only means of drinking water to about 15-20 houses nearby in his settlements, but due to construction of water tank under Jal Jeevan Mission, he is getting pure clean drinking water in every season.
