Joining the club, along with promoting youth sports, we will work for the protection and promotion of the culture and environment of Chhattisgarh. Apart from connecting the youth with creative work, the aim of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club is to take the welfare schemes to the common people through these youths. Objective of club formation- The objective of the scheme of formation of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club is to organize the youth of the state and connect them with creative work. At the same time, they have to be encouraged to work with social, cultural, sports and service by linking them with various public welfare schemes of the government. Along with this, by getting cooperation in the implementation of development plans of the state, ensuring public participation and being motivated for creative activities. Through Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club, leadership will be helped in the development of youth. Skill development activities will also be conducted through this club. It has been decided that according to the format fixed for the scheme, 1605 clubs will be formed in a phased manner in proportion to the population in all 11 thousand 664 gram panchayats of the state and in 169 urban bodies of the state. In this way, a total of 13 thousand 269 Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs will be formed in the state. Annual expenditure of Rs 132.69 crore is expected for these clubs, in which a provision of Rs 50 crore has been made for Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club in the annual budget for the financial year 2021-22. An amount of 25 thousand rupees per club per quarter will be given as a grant. These will be the members of the club – According to the prescribed provisions, the native residents of the state will be eligible to become a member of the club. In this, only people between the age limit of 15 to 40 years will be eligible to become a member. Each club will have a member capacity of 20-40. In this, the minister in charge will ensure that all sections are properly represented in the club. This is how it will operate- A committee has been constituted from the state level to the gram panchayat level for the effective operation of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club. There will be a ministerial committee at the state level for the implementation, supervision and guidance of the scheme, which will be headed by the Chief Minister of the state and the Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare as the vice-president. At the state level, the chief secretary will be the chairman of the executive committee, at the district level, the guardian of the executive committee will be the minister-in-charge, and the chairman will be the district collector and the deputy superintendent of police. At the section level, the committee will be headed by the sub-divisional officer revenue. The responsibility of implementation of the scheme in the Gram Panchayats will be the Sub-Divisional Officer and Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat.
