Mukesh Sen, Tikamgarh. The Excise Police team, which had come to take action against illegal liquor in Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh, was attacked. Liquor mafia miscreants and attackers threw stones at the team and then also beat them with sticks. Not only this, one of the accused even snatched the SI’s service revolver and cartridges. Four people including SI were injured in this attack. It is being told that the team somehow escaped from there to save their lives.
What is the whole matter?
Miscreants attacked the Excise Police team that had gone to seize illegal liquor in Birau village of Digauda police station area of Tikamgarh district. In this case, Sub Inspector (SI) Vijay Singh and other people of the police team were beaten up. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. When the Excise Department team reached the house of the illegal liquor trader on the complaint of illegal liquor sale, the accused Santosh Yadav Rinku Yadav along with half a dozen other people armed with weapons attacked the Excise team.

Before the members of the Excise Department could understand anything, the accused took the Excise team in their clutches and beat them fiercely. Also, the service revolver of Sub-Inspector Vijay Singh Chandel was snatched along with cartridges. Sub-Inspector Vijay Singh Chandel and constable Prahlad Vishwakarma have suffered serious injuries in the attack, while two other constables are also said to be injured.
