Navdunia representative, Bhopal. In the case of 171 illegal LPG cylinders seized on Parvaliya road last month, an FIR has been registered against the driver, operator and vehicle owner in Parvaliya police station. The district food and supply department got this FIR registered against driver Sonu Thakur, operator Rajesh Dhurve and vehicle owner Kunal Gangoli on charges of misuse and illegal transportation of domestic gas.
The case started on August 14 when the police stopped a truck loaded with LPG cylinders in the Parwalia area. The driver Sonu Rathore and conductor Rajesh Dhurve could not show valid documents for the cylinders in the truck. After investigation, District Supply Controller Meena Malakar presented the case in the court of Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, after which orders were given to register an FIR.
The accused youth used to bring cylinders illegally from Kurawar and sell them at high prices in Bhopal. It is being told that the cylinders were bought for about Rs 760 per cylinder and then sold in Bhopal for Rs 800. Investigation of the case is going on.
They say that
171 gas cylinders illegally loaded in a vehicle were caught on Paravaliya road. An FIR has been lodged against the driver, operator and the vehicle owner. The cylinders and the vehicle have already been seized. The cost of both is around Rs 18 lakh.
