Giving information, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that liquor ban has been decided in 17 religious places including Ujjain, Omkareshwar. Also, ministers have got the right to transfer in their department.
An amount of Rs 25 crore will be given to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University
Many major decisions were taken in the meeting, the most special of which was to provide an amount of Rs 25 crore to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University. This amount will be used to develop the Faculty of Law in the University as Center for Excellence. Describing Mhow as the birthplace of Ambedkar, the Chief Minister set a target to make it an ideal in the field of education and law.
Liquor shops closed in 17 religious places
Taking a big step towards prohibition, the government has decided to close all liquor shops in 17 religious places and city council areas. These include major religious places like Ujjain, Omkareshwar, Maheshwar, Maihar and Amarkantak. Along with this, it was decided to strictly implement the policy of liquor ban on the banks of the Narmada River.
Big relief to farmers
Giving relief to the farmers, the government has announced to provide 5 to 7 horsepower solar pumps to temporary pump holders. Under this scheme, steps have been taken to end the dependence on electricity to farmers and make them self -sufficient. The government has said to reach the scheme to 30 lakh permanent connection holders soon.
Big decisions also for women empowerment
Big decisions were also taken for women empowerment. Social and economic development of women has been given priority under the ‘Woman Lead Development Mission’. In this, new schemes for education, health, nutrition and security of women will be introduced. In addition, it is also planned to take strict steps to increase the education of girls and prevent child marriage.
New bridge approved in Bhopal
It was approved to construct a new bridge for Bhopal at a cost of 180 crores. This bridge will solve traffic problems and will give a new direction to the city. In addition, after the successful operation of the Green Corridor, efforts are being made to further improve health services in the state.

In which areas liquor shops will be closed
Municipal Corporation Area:
Ujjain Municipal Corporation: All liquor shops in the city of Mahakal will remain closed.
Municipality Area:
Datia: This municipality area will remain alcohol free.
Panna, Mandla, Mooltai, Mandsaur: Liquor shops will also be closed in these areas.
Maihar: The sale of liquor in the city of Mata Sharda will be completely banned.
City Council Area:
Omkareshwar, Maheshwar, Mandleshwar, Chitrakoot, Amarkantak: Liquor shops in these city councils will be completely closed.
Gram Panchayat Area:
Salkanpur, Brahmanand Kala, Linga, Banuman Food, Kundalpur, Bandakpur: The sale of liquor will also be banned in these panchayats.
Special decision:
Narmada River banks: The already implemented prohibition policy will continue on both sides of the Narmada River within 5 km radius.
