Bhopal. Monsoon is still active in the state, but it is a matter of relief that there is no warning of heavy rain anywhere in the state. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the districts of Bhopal, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Indore and Ujjain divisions. At the same time, there may be heavy rain at some places in Rewa, Shahdol, Gwalior, Chambal divisions.
According to the Meteorological Center, the monsoon trough is present from Bikaner, Orai, Sidhi of Madhya Pradesh to Ranchi, Digha and up to the Bay of Bengal. A cyclone is present in the upper part of the air over North-West Rajasthan. A cyclone is also present in the upper part of the air over South Gujarat. A cyclone has also formed in the upper part of the air over the Gangetic region of West Bengal and the adjoining Bangladesh.
Former senior meteorologist of Meteorological Center Ajay Shukla said that due to the effect of these weather systems active at different places, moisture is coming from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. Due to this, there is intermittent rainfall in the state. There is a possibility of increase in rainfall activities in north-eastern Madhya Pradesh from Thursday. Heavy rainfall may also occur at some places in Rewa, Shahdol, Gwalior, Chambal divisions on Thursday-Friday. Light to moderate rainfall may also occur in the districts of Bhopal, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Indore and Ujjain divisions.
