Transfer of two deputy directors
The Deputy Directors of the Enforcement Director Tushar Srivastava and Ritesh Kumar Srivastava, who are investigating the Saurabh Sharma case, have been transferred. Both have been sent to Delhi. Deputy Director Tushar Srivastava has been sent to Delhi Zonal Office and ED Bhopal’s office at Deputy Director Ritesh Kumar Srivastava to Delhi Headquarters. Mukesh Kumar has been made deputy director in Bhopal Zone Office. The ED has described it as a common process.

IT applied for remand in Lokayukta
Here, in the case of Saurabh Sharma, Chetan Gaur and Sharad Jaiswal, the third investigative agency Income Tax Department has also become active. IT has applied for remand of the three in the Lokayukta court today. The bail plea of Saurabh Sharma, accused in the money laundering case, was heard in front of Special Judge Sachin Kumar Ghosh on February 19. After which the court reserved the verdict.

ED gave raid on many locations
On December 27, investigating agencies took raids of Saurabh Sharma’s relatives and colleagues at Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur residences. During this period, important documents were recovered during searching at different locations. FD of more than Rs 6 crore was found in the name of Saurabh’s associate Chetan Singh Gaur. A bank balance of over Rs 4 crore was also received in the name of family members and companies. Documents related to immovable property worth more than Rs 23 crore were found and they were confiscated.
Saurabh Sharma had reached the court on Monday (January 28) to surrender, but after the application, the court ordered a diary from the investigating agency, after which he asked him to come the next day. According to the lawyer, as soon as Saurabh was going to court at 11 am. The Lokayukta arrested him from outside and took him to the Lokayukta office. Where he was questioned for 5 hours. His partner Chetan Gaur was also detained on his spot.
