According to the Meteorological Department, the heat will run in 30 districts on Wednesday. Orange alert of heat wave has been issued in Ashoknagar, Guna, Ratlam, Mandsaur and Neemuch. Gwalior, Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Shivpuri, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna, Sagar, Damoh, Jabalpur, Mandla, Seoni, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Ujjain and Agar-Malwa are alert.
On April 10, the heat will also run in Ratlam, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ujjain, Dhar, Jabalpur and Mandla. The weather will change again from 11 April.
