Jagannath Nanda (38), a resident of Modibara Katanga, created an ID for marriage on the Sangam matrimonial site. On May 16, he received a call. The girl who called him introduced herself as Lisa Rose. She said that she lives in the United Kingdom. The two began talking. They also agreed on marriage.
Also ready to come to India
She also agreed to come to India for marriage, but in the meantime the girl told him that she had to go to Ireland for work. Due to this she is sending him a bag, which she will take back when she comes to India. Jagannath gave his address, but on May 31, Jagannath messaged the girl and refused to marry her.
Money demanded in exchange for returning the courier
On the same day, he received a call. The caller said that he was calling from Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. His courier had arrived. When Jagannath refused to accept the courier, he was asked to pay Rs. 15,000 for returning the courier. He paid Rs. 15,000.
Said that there were no documents in the bag
On June 1, he received a call. The caller introduced himself as a customs officer from Delhi and informed him that Lisa’s bag had 2.5 lakh pounds and gold but the documents were missing and if the person in whose name it was sent did not release it, the government would confiscate it.

When Jagannath talked to Lisa, she asked him to get the bag released. Jagannath thought that Lisa might trap him in some case, so he called on the said number, and he was asked to pay Rs. 2.5 lakh as income tax to get the bag released. Lisa also said that she will give him 2400 pounds on coming to India.
Then ask for more money
Then Jagannath put one lakh rupees on June 2 and one lakh forty five thousand rupees on June 3 in the account number given by the said person. When he asked to send the bag, he was asked for another 13.5 lakh rupees. Then Jagannath got suspicious. When he gathered information, he found out that there was no such bag in Delhi.
