Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel has said that a training programme is an effective platform for exchange of knowledge and cultural specialties. The conduct, behavior and lifestyle of each individual is different. Training is an unforgettable opportunity to understand each other. Governor Shri Patel was discussing with the trainee officers of National Defense College at Raj Bhavan today. Training has been co-ordinated in Madhya Pradesh by the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management. Trainee officers have come to Madhya Pradesh in order to tour India during the training conducted at the National Defense College.
Governor Shri Patel said that Madhya Pradesh is the heart of India, where there is a rich tradition of geographical, cultural and historical heritage. Development works are being undertaken at a fast pace in the state with the participation of Gana and Tantra. Along with rich natural resources, mineral reserves, it is also a leading state in the availability of economic, industrial, infra-structure and agricultural production. The state is the leading state in the country in agricultural infrastructure construction, organic and fish production, which has received many awards at the national level. In terms of cleanliness, the entire state is making its own identity as the cleanest state in India. The state has received 16 national awards in the Swachh Survekshan 2022. 77 urban bodies of the state have also got star rating.
Governor Shri Patel said that Indore city of Madhya Pradesh has made its own identity in the whole world in cleanliness and waste management along with industrial development. Here Asia’s biggest Bio CNG plant is being operated. The special identity of the state is the tribal population of approximately 1 crore 75 lacs, which is more than 21 percent of the population of the state. Basic skills and natural simplicity, the art of living with traditional strength and skill is the distinctive feature of tribal life.
Coarse grains grown by tribals for centuries are creating their own identity in the world today as a product of eco-friendly organic farming. He hoped that the Officer Trainees would mutually share the experiences and knowledge gained during the training. In the future, we will continue to make the best contribution in building the nation and society with our excellent works. He also requested the trainee officers to visit tourist destinations of Madhya Pradesh with their family members again after training.
Shri Amarnath Sinha of Air Force Headquarters gave information regarding the training course. He said that for international reflection on various ideas, training programme for defense and civil officers of different countries are organised at the National Defense College. The purpose of training is to enable them to work in higher positions. He informed that 120 officers are under training in the 63rd course of training. These include 42 officers of Brigadier and equivalent level from Army, 13 from Air Force, 7 from Navy, 18 from Civil Services and 40 officers from other countries. Foreign officials who have come to visit the state include officials from United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, Nepal and Mongolia. Group Captain Shri Neil Jones from United Kingdom proposed the vote of thanks on behalf of the Officer Trainees.
A memento was presented to Governor Shri Patel by Course Director of National Defense College Shri Virendra Singh Yadav. Director of the academy, Mujeebur Rahman Khan welcomed the guests. Academy’s Officer on Special Duty Smt. Rashmi Baghel proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was co-ordinated by Shri Pramod Chaturvedi.
