15,000 Cement Bags Form 70‑Foot Durga Symbolizing Strength and Faith
NEW DELHI, October 11 – In an artistic tribute for Navratri 2026, Adani Cement deployed 15,000 cement bags to craft a towering 70‑foot depiction of Goddess Durga at its Kaumor plant. The colossal figure, occupying a 70 × 70‑foot footprint, incorporates approximately 750 tonnes of cement sourced from the Ambuja and ACC ranges. The undertaking required an estimated 12,600 man‑hours, reflecting a massive collaborative effort.
Named “Where Faith, There is Strength,” the installation presents Durga’s crown, eyes, ten arms and refined facial features. From ground level the arrangement appears as individual bag units, but an aerial perspective reveals the seamless silhouette of the deity, reinforcing the campaign’s message that collective small efforts can create something extraordinary.
The entire process has been recorded in a digital short film that first follows workers as they line up the bags and then ascends to display the completed goddess figure. The footage will be disseminated across social media to highlight the partnership between the two primary Adani Cement brands—Ambuja, representing durability and power, and ACC, embodying nine decades of trust.
