Adobe Announces CEO Transition, Emphasizes AI‑Driven Growth

In a press release issued from New Delhi on September 4, Adobe confirmed that Anil Chakravarti will assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer, while veteran Shantanu Narayen will become Executive Chairman. Chakravarti, who leads the Customer Experience Orchestration and Worldwide Field Operations divisions, will also join Adobe’s board on December 1, 2026.

Speaking about the change, Narayen highlighted Adobe’s consistent success in launching new market categories and delivering top‑tier products. He commended Chakravarti for his transformational leadership style, strong values, and deep understanding of the business landscape.

Chakravarti, a veteran of Adobe since 2020 and former CEO of Informatica, expressed confidence that Adobe is well‑positioned for the next chapter of growth, especially as artificial intelligence reshapes creative and productivity tools.
