AEL Q2 FY27: Revenue Hits Rs 38,023 Cr, Copper Business Shines

Ahmedabad, October 28: Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) has recorded solid performance in the second quarter of FY 2026-27. Consolidated revenue increased 74 per cent year-on-year to reach Rs 38,023 crore, marking one of the company's strongest quarters in recent times.

As per the company's stock exchange disclosure, EBITDA rose 62 per cent to Rs 6,316 crore. Profit before tax from continuing operations recorded a sharp 146 per cent increase, reaching Rs 2,002 crore.

Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, attributed the performance to the maturity of investments made over the last few years and to the growing capacity of the group's varied businesses.

"We are operating in a period of rapid transformation, so the scope of our aspirations must keep widening. The real strength of Adani Enterprises is its capacity to deliver big and complex projects successfully at scale," Adani said.

He highlighted investments in integrated energy, airports and the AI ecosystem as recent examples. He also said that the consistent faith of global and domestic investors stands as the strongest validation of the company's execution capability.

The first half of FY 2026-27 told a similar story. Consolidated revenue grew 62 per cent to Rs 71,569 crore, while EBITDA reached Rs 11,958 crore, up 56 per cent. Profit before tax from continuing operations rose 45 per cent to Rs 3,297 crore for the six-month period.

Copper operations played a notable role in driving growth, generating an EBITDA of Rs 2,033 crore during the first half. The copper plant's production capacity has expanded significantly, and sales volumes in the first half of FY 2026-27 jumped 5.2 times year-on-year.

Emerging businesses continued to gain ground. Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL) switched on a 4.3 GW TOPCon solar module line in September 2026, taking its total solar module manufacturing capacity to 10 GW.

In digital infrastructure, AdaniConneX bagged a new hyperscale order of 240 MW for its Navi Mumbai data centre. The development is seen as a key step in scaling the company's data centre business.

The financial profile of the company also gained strength this quarter. CARE Ratings upgraded Adani Enterprises' long-term credit rating to AA with a Stable outlook, which is the highest credit rating in the company's history.
