A wave of Android users has expressed dissatisfaction with Google’s recent mobile operating system update. The new user interface (UI) has sparked frustration due to its abrupt changes, leaving users seeking the familiar controls of the older interface. The updated interface features enlarged buttons for call termination, the keypad, muting, and speakerphone options, leading to user confusion. Additionally, the phone app, contact list, and call history have been modified, with horizontal lines now separating each contact and recently dialed numbers. These changes have made the interface resemble iOS, including requiring a swipe action to answer or decline incoming calls. Notably, these modifications appeared without users initiating a device update.
