Intense anticipation surrounds the upcoming Apple releases, prompting supply chain analysts and production sources to reveal a wave of leaks. A recent disclosure from a Chinese Carrier Advertisement, disseminated by tipster Jukanlosreve, has further fueled speculation.
Apple is poised to launch four iPhone 17 models: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The anticipated press conference is scheduled for September 9.
According to the recent leaks, the iPhone 17 will feature a 6.3-inch OLED display and will be powered by the Apple A19 chip. This device will also incorporate 8GB of RAM.
It’s anticipated to have a 48-megapixel main camera alongside a 12-megapixel ultra-wide unit. On the front, an upgraded 24-megapixel camera is expected. The device will also likely be powered by a 3,600 mAh battery.
The iPhone 17 Air is said to be exceptionally thin, at just 5.5mm thick, and weigh only 145 grams. It’s reported to have a 6.6-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of approximately 2740 x 1280.
The Air model will feature a single rear camera, with the same 24-megapixel selfie camera as the iPhone 17. It is also set to be powered by the Apple A19 chip and come with 8GB of RAM.
The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to incorporate a 2,800 mAh battery. Notably, it’s slated to be the initial device following the iPhone 16e to utilize Apple’s custom C1 modem. The phone’s dimensions are expected to be 163 x 77.6 x 5.5 mm.
The iPhone 17 Pro is rumored to have a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to feature a large 6.9-inch panel. The two devices will be equipped with 3,700 mAh and 5,000 mAh batteries, respectively. Both models are also said to include a new vapor chamber cooling system and will run on the Apple A19 Pro processor with a 6-core GPU. Both Pro models will include 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
The leaked pricing for the upcoming phones suggests that the new series could be about 50$ more expensive than the existing phones. The expected prices are:
