Following the launch of the iPhone series in September, Apple is reportedly preparing for another major event in October 2025. The company is expected to unveil a new iPad Pro with the M5 chip, an upgraded Vision Pro, a new Apple TV, HomePod Mini, and AirTag. Updates to the MacBook Pro M5 are also anticipated, though the timing of its release is uncertain.
Apple’s October events have varied historically. While the company held launch events in 2021 and 2023, there were no major events in 2022 and 2024, with product updates announced via press releases. The 2021 event featured the MacBook Pro (M1 Pro and M1 Max chips), AirPods 3, and HomePod Mini colors. In 2023, the Scary Fast event saw the introduction of the MacBook Pro and iMac (M3 chips).
According to reports, the new iPad Pro M5 could be the highlight of this year’s launch. It is expected to feature a dual front camera that supports both portrait and landscape orientations. A new version of the Vision Pro is also anticipated, potentially including the M4 or M5 chip, a new head strap, and a Space Black finish.
The new Apple TV model may come with an A17 Pro or N1 chip, designed to support Wi-Fi 7 and Apple Intelligence features. The HomePod Mini could see improvements in sound quality, a new S-series chip, and Ultra Wideband 2.0 technology. An upgraded AirTag version might offer an extended tracking range, enhanced durability, and clearer battery alerts.
While the MacBook Pro M5 series is in production, reports suggest its launch could be delayed until January 2026. Apple is also working on Macs with OLED displays and slimmer designs for the future. A low-cost MacBook and the next-generation Studio Display are also expected, potentially by the end of 2025 or early 2026.
