Following the opening of Apple Stores in various Indian states, Apple India has leased a new office space in Bengaluru. The company has leased 2.7 lakh square feet of space for its new office. According to data analytics firm Propstack, the company will pay a monthly rent of ₹6.3 crore for the office space, totaling approximately ₹1000 crore over ten years.
Apple has leased multiple floors, including car parking space, from the real estate firm Embassy Group. The lease was signed on April 3, 2025, and the deal is for a period of 120 months.
Security Deposit of ₹31.57 Crore
Propstack reviewed the registration documents of the lease transaction and estimates that Apple will pay over ₹1000 crore over the 10-year period, including rent, parking, and maintenance charges. The company has leased floors 5 to 13 in the Embassy Zenith building and has also deposited a security deposit of ₹31.57 crore. The company will be charged ₹235 per square foot, with an annual increase of 4.5 percent. Due to this annual increase, the company will pay over ₹1000 crore in rent over the next ten years.
Apple’s Exports in 2024-2025
Apple is currently the largest exporter of mobile phones from India. In the financial year 2024-25, the company exported iPhones worth approximately ₹1.5 lakh crore. The company’s expansion in India indicates that its growth is accelerating, not slowing down.
