Apple is set to open its new retail store, Apple Hebbal, in Bengaluru, India’s technology hub, on Tuesday, September 2nd. This will be Apple’s first official store in South India. Previously, the company launched retail stores in Mumbai (Apple BKC) and Delhi (Apple Saket). This marks the third physical outlet for Apple in India, in addition to its online store.
The store will offer a wide array of the latest Apple products, including the iPhone 16 lineup, MacBook Pro, iPad Air, Apple Watch Series 10, AirPods 4, and AirTag. The Apple Hebbal store will be staffed by 70 trained employees from 15 Indian states. This team will assist customers not only in selecting products but also with financing options, iOS setup, and switching from Android to iPhone. The store will operate entirely on renewable energy and maintain carbon-neutral operations to minimize environmental impact.
Apple Hebbal will serve as a learning center, offering free daily sessions called “Today at Apple,” where visitors can learn about iPhone photography, the use of Apple Intelligence, creative art and illustration with iPad and Apple Pencil, and group bookings for families, students, and business groups. The store is scheduled to open on Tuesday, September 2nd, at 1 PM. This expansion signifies Apple’s growing presence in India and represents another significant milestone for the company.
Apple’s annual event is also expected this month, where the company may launch its new iPhone series. The iPhone 17 series in several Asian countries will reportedly come without a SIM slot, utilizing only eSIM. Currently, India offers both physical SIM slots and eSIM options.
