Two days before the dialogue, IGCC organized a startup competition in Bengaluru that attracted close to 90 emerging companies. The showcase featured cutting‑edge AI solutions, next‑generation green‑hydrogen production methods, and novel semiconductor applications. Winners will be invited to present their projects at the upcoming Asia‑Pacific conference in Seoul, where they will pitch to CEOs of Siemens, Bayer, BASF and other German industry leaders.
Jan Noether explained that the competition aims to spur entrepreneurial activity, providing Indian innovators with a direct channel to European markets. The exposure in Seoul is expected to open doors for long‑term collaborations and investment flows.
