Rajasthan took a giant leap into the semiconductor era as Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma unveiled the state's first dedicated cluster in Bhiwadi. The Friday virtual ceremony also flagged off several projects in Bhiwadi and Khairthal-Tijara, underscoring the government's aggressive push for industrialization. From Jaipur, Sharma detailed advancements on the RRTS corridor to Delhi and Yamuna water sharing deal. He spotlighted 35 new policies in two years fostering an investor-friendly climate, pivotal to the 2047 developed Rajasthan goal. Key inaugurations included the Alsina Electronics Complex and a 34 MLD STP, alongside rural-focused initiatives. Plans for a massive industrial zone at Bandikui and rural 'Atal Gyan Kendras' aim to blend tradition with modernity, ensuring sustainable growth. Power reliability has improved with daytime supply in 24 districts for farmers. Employment drives are on track: 1.25 lakh jobs delivered, 1.25 lakh more scheduled, and 1.35 lakh recruitments in progress, honoring pre-poll commitments. Union Railways and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw lauded the cluster's ₹1,200 crore investment, promising 2,500 jobs and 6 crore chips yearly. India's electronics sector has surged sixfold to ₹13 lakh crore, mobiles leading exports. 75 component projects approved, Amrit scheme revamping 85 stations. Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav commissioned the ₹61 crore STP and ₹52 crore pipeline, envisioning Bhiwadi as India's next manufacturing magnet, expanding from autos to high-tech chips.
