ElevenLabs has introduced 11.ai, a new voice assistant designed to move beyond simple question-answering and into the realm of practical task execution. Currently in alpha, 11.ai integrates with applications like Slack, Notion, and Linear, allowing users to manage projects, summarize information, and conduct research through voice commands. Unlike conventional voice assistants that often redirect users to web searches, 11.ai leverages ElevenLabs’ Conversational AI engine and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to directly interact with integrated services. Users can select from over 5,000 voices or clone their own, promising a more personalized experience. The platform emphasizes ultra-low latency, multilingual capabilities, and secure integrations, aiming for a natural and efficient user experience. Free access is being offered during the alpha phase, with ElevenLabs actively seeking user feedback to enhance integrations and features.
